WEST BEND AREA CHAMBER ANNOUNCES CANDIDATE FORUM
WEST BEND, WI (March 7, 2019) – Craig Farrell, Executive Director of the Chamber announced today that the Chamber will once again host a Candidate Forum. On Tuesday, March 19, 2019 the Forum will be held at City Hall, in the City Council Chamber beginning at 6:00 pm.
For the past 23 years the Chamber has taken a community leadership role by conducting an unbiased Forum. It is the Chambers mission to send informed voters to the polls on Election Day. The Forum has invited candidates in the contested races for School Board and City Council District Two.
This event provides voters with an opportunity to meet the candidates and listen to their views. It also provides the candidates with the opportunity to state their opinions on issues of general voter interest.
Candidates for School Board are scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm and District Two candidates will follow at approximately 6:45 pm. The Forum will be televised live by Community Television and will be rebroadcast at various times prior to Election Day.
