    Dirty Ninja Mud Run for Kids Surpasses 1,000 Registrants
    On Pace for Record Attendance

    West Bend, Wis. (April 19, 2021): The City of West Bend is pleased to announce that registration for the 2021 Dirty Ninja Mud Run for Kids™ surpassed 1,000 participants—a record-setting pace—and is on track to reach 2,500 participants. The event is organized by the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department and takes place at Regner Park on Saturday, July 17, 2021.  
     
    “We are ecstatic for the return of the Dirty Ninja Mud Run!” said Nick Lemke, Recreation Supervisor. “Our team is dedicated to hosting a safe and fun event for all participants and spectators. Space is limited, so we encourage early registration!”
     
    The Dirty Ninja Mud Run for Kids™ is an outdoor obstacle course equipped with mud pits, climbing and crawling elements, and waterslide. The course length and difficulty levels are adjusted for each age group. Youth of all abilities and ages 4-15 are invited to participate. Each participate receives a custom finisher medal, headband, t-shirt, disposable mask, lunch coupon, sponsor goodie bag, and a free pass for swimming after the race at Regner Park Beach and the Rotary Splash Pad.   
     
    “This event has become a signature summer staple for the City of West Bend,” said Mike Jentsch, Parks, Recreation and Forestry Director. “We are grateful for the community’s support and sponsorship of this event.”

    Online registration is available for children ages 4-15 at www.ci.west-bend.wi.us/mudrun. Save 33% by registering on or before May 31 for $30. Registration from June 1 to July 16 is $45 (until sold out). In-person registration is also available at the Parks and Recreation Office at City Hall, 1115 S. Main Street, West Bend, WI 53095. Payment methods include cash, check and credit card (processing fee applies).
