The successful candidate is a confident, technology savvy individual with experience in working with all areas of the bank and with outside vendors to implement new core banking systems and administer existing systems. They are a critical thinker and will be required to have a thorough understanding of the bank’s core data and related extract tools to manage and develop reports and APIs. They provide recommendations while directing and developing training to improve systems, processes, and procedures to ensure efficient workflows along with the system quality control parameters for departments across the bank.
A strong predictor of success for the AVP Business System Analyst is providing outstanding customer service and leadership to build rapport and trust with staff and vendors to create an environment to wow our clients or fellow employees by delivering exceptional systems. This is a fast-paced position, with firm deadlines requiring quick and timely decisions and the ability to multi-task.
Learning the basics: Within the first 30 days, with guidance and training, the AVP Business Systems Analyst will obtain a general understand of all systems the bank uses within each of the business units.
Next level tasks: Within the first 90 days, the AVP Business Systems Analyst will be assigned specific systems to review and assist in updating or implementing as new.
Trusted resource: Within the first 6 months, the AVP Business Systems Analyst will have a thorough knowledge of the bank’s core banking data and how it can be used for reporting and interfacing with other systems.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field of study, minimum of five years of banking systems, banking operations or related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
