    Event Description:
    A yarn bomb is a form of public fiber art meant to bring a sense of the unexpected and fun into daily life. It is often whimsical, colorful and can be a large public project or just a small individual piece. Pieces are usually knit or crocheted, but can be any form of fiber art and come from people of all skill levels! The bomb will be on the grounds of the Washington County Historical Society, 320 S. 5th Ave, West Bend, WI. Installation will take place June 4-8, 2019 and the pieces will be taken down the week of August 14, 2016. Fiber artists are welcome to take their work back. Remaining pieces will be cleaned and those that can be salvaged and repurposed will be given to local charities. It is FREE to participate, you will need to supply your own yarn and needles. Registration is required.
