The West Bend Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership driven,
not-for-profit organization founded in 1913 and is the largest business organization in Washington County. We are committed to creating opportunities
for commerce and community. We accomplish this by delivering a host of programs
and services in three major areas - Member Advantage Programs, Business Benefit
Programs and Community Development Programs.
We welcome new businesses into our association, and applaud existing Members
for investing their time and talent. We are proud of our thriving business
community. Our Members are the lifeblood of our organization, and we are proud
to serve them.
Member Benefits

We assertively promote our Chamber Gift Certificate program. In 2006, we sold
over $280,000 in Gift Certificates. We consistently prepare orders for local
employers on a regular basis, and we are gaining popularity with local
residents. Hundreds of our Members benefits from this program and see an
increase in business - only Chamber Members may accept Chamber Gift
Certificates.

We are a primary contact for new residents to our area. We offer relocation
packets and work closely with realtors and businesses that welcome new
neighbors. We are able to directly promote your service to new residents,
providing an opportunity to increase your business.

We aggressively promote the area as an overnight destination. We know that our
natural resources as well as our unique community offerings are attractions we
can actively market. We believe the Rails to Trails, Lac Lawrann, our proximity
to the Ice Age Trail and the Kettle Moraine Northern Unit, as well as our local
attractions including the Museum of Wisconsin Art and the Washington
County Historical Museums, are great venues for us to promote to visitors. As
we see an increase in visitors to our area, we know this provides an
opportunity for you to see an increase in business.

Business After Hours are hosted on a monthly basis. This is a great
opportunity for you to meet other Chamber Members and share your products and
services. This is also an opportunity for you to build the necessary
relationships within the West Bend community.
