The West Bend Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership driven; not-for-profit organization founded in 1913 and is the largest business organization in Washington County. We are committed to creating opportunities for commerce and community. We accomplish this by delivering a host of programs and services in three major areas - Member Advantage Programs, Business Benefit Programs and Community Development Programs.
We welcome new businesses into our association, and assist existing Members who are investing their time and assets in West Bend. We are proud of our thriving business community. Our Members are the lifeblood of our organization, and we are proud to serve them. It is the Chambers mission to encourage area residents to shop locally and support the businesses that in turn support our community.
Member Benefits
- We aggressively promote our Chamber Gift Certificate program. In 2009, we sold over $180,000 in Gift Certificates. On a regular basis we prepare Gift Certificate orders for local employers to give to their employees, and Gift Certificate are gaining popularity with local residents. Hundreds of our Members benefits from this program and see an increase in business - only Chamber Members may accept Chamber Gift Certificates.
- We are a primary contact for new residents to our area. We offer relocation packets and work closely with realtors and businesses that welcome new neighbors. We are able to directly promote your service to new residents, providing an opportunity to increase your business.
- We aggressively promote the area as an overnight destination. We know that our natural resources as well as our unique community offerings are attractions we can actively market. We believe that Geocaching, the paved Eisenbahn Trail, Lac Lawrann, our proximity to the Ice Age Trail and the Kettle Moraine Northern Unit, as well as our local attractions including the Museum of Wisconsin Art, the Washington County Historical Museum, the West Bend/Regalware House ware Museum are great venues for us to promote to visitors. As we see an increase in visitors to our area, we know this provides an opportunity for you to see an increase in business.
- Business After Hours are hosted on a monthly basis. This is a great opportunity for you to meet other Chamber Members and share your products and services. These Business to Business opportunities help you to network and build the necessary relationships within the West Bend community.
